Here on this quiet, unassuming little page you may find:

At any given time, you might find all or none of the above; the contents of this page will be vicissitudinous (look it up) ...and basically unorganized! Any downloads you do find here will be 'Minimal Install' versions unless otherwise noted: No setup, no standard support files in the zip (any oddball support files needed will of course be included!) Unzip & Run.

I do want to hear about bugs you encounter, even on the 'unsupported' programs. If you have a problem/question/suggestion about any of the stuff on this page write me and let me hear it! I'm also interested to hear your opions, whether I should finish something off and release it proper, add something to it, take something out of it, etc.

Please do not redistibute or link to any of these files. You are welcome to link directly to this page if you like--this page is permanent, but everything on it is temporary.

(icon) Extra: Download Thing

A simple way to download any file from the web that you can figure out the URL for. Useful for saving files embedded in web pages that don't provide a 'save as' option.

(icon) βeta: SaverSwitch

New Program: Another Tray-icon utility, this one for controlling the screensaver. Main function is to sit in the tray and display a green light if the screensaver is enabled or a red X if it is disabled. Need to keep the screensaver from popping up but don't want to take the time to go into the Display control panel and turn it off? Click the tray icon and the saver goes from 'enabled' to disabled. Click again to bring it back. Double click to run it RIGHT NOW. Right click to bring up a menu that lets you select & configure the current screensaver (this is the part that isn't fully tested yet--pretty sure it doesn't work 100% on Win9x/ME!) Also has option to start with windows.

(icon) βeta: Clikonnit (beta 6.1)

New Program: A Tray-icon companion to Marconnit, for those of you teaching people how to use computers/software using a demonstration computer. Clikonnit makes your mouse clicks visible by playing a small animation at the point of mouse clicks. The are also keystroke animations for special keystrokes (i.e. Ctrl+key combinations, function keys, etc.) that show your audience which keys you pressed. Since this is a beta, many planned features, including making mouse wheel scrolling and sounds have not been implemented yet. This version is designed to allow you to give feedback on future development.

As of beta 6.1 I am suspending the Clikonnit beta release schedule (work on the program will continue, but there will be no new beta releases.) Some of the features are taking much longer to develop properly that expected. Additionally, there has been little actual interest in this project, compared with numerous requests for updates on other software. For the time being I plan to concentrate on other releases, and re-evaluate some of the features in Clikonnit. Some of the features I've said were finished may end up looking quite different in the final version now.

If there is sufficient interest in this program I will consider re-establishing the beta schedule.
