Marconnit sits inconspicuously in the system tray until you need it:
You can start it by double-clicking the tray icon or by right-clicking it to bring up the tray menu:

You have several choices for how to mark up the screen: freehand marker & highlighter, shapes, lines (with or without arrowheads), text (not shown)

Each tool has a different, customizable cursor so you can easily tell which tool you are using:

Marconnit has over 70 differnet ColorMatch cursors--no matter what color you pick, the cursor changes color to be an exact match, automatically:

The popup menu while drawing lets you quickly swap tools, save/load/print screens, and much more. Notice that there are also a ton of (customizable!) keyboard shortcuts if you don't want your audience to see the menu:

For the highlighter, marker, and line/arrow tools, you can quickly select from up to eight colors (6 standard + two customizable) and three line thicknesss (The K key cycles through the list of colors for the current tool) Also, notice that the function of the F9 key has been customized from Cycle Sizes (in the picture above) to Cycle Colors (all 12 F-keys can be customized!):
