Glass is based on another, older game called 'Stained Glass' which I played long ago on an early color Macintosh (back when color on a Mac was a novelty!) I've never seen a Windows version of Stained Glass, so I wrote one--for myself, originally. Then I gave a copy to a friend of mine: she and her fianceé were instantly addicted. At that point, I knew that I had to make a version available for the general public--it was just as addicting as the game I remembered.
The object of the game is to remove the colored 'panes' from the board by jumping--but you can't just jump any old piece. The color of the panes determines which other colors it can jump over and land on. You score points based on how many panes you remove, and in how few turns you do it. Screen Shot
Before my 'basic version' was ready for public release, there were a list of features to add (all of which are in the current version), like:
